Wheeler was one of the most dominant pitchers in the National League before landing on the list injured by a blood clot. Wheeler won a 2.71 ERA from 24 starts with the Phillies, but has been out for the rest of the postseason.
The Phillies did not use Buhler in the opening game of the NLDS. The have been making Buhler better in the only time he’s faced him since he left, scoring three runs in 4.2 innings, but ultimately lost the game to the Red Sox.

The will try to continue rolling the ball in Game 2 after winning the Road in Game 1 and gain a great advantage in Series. Blakesnell will score the ‘ mound for their second postseason in Game 2, starting Monday at 3:08pm PT.
