The New York Knicks are heading for the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000. The Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics in a blowout game six victory.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the Knicks, currently facing a pacer in the Eastern Conference Finals. This is not just a rematch of last year’s series, but also of the 1999 and 2000 Eastern Conference Finals.
It was a great show from the Knicks. Several players stepped up and delivered great performances.
However, Knicks legend Walt “Clyde” Frasier was impressed by one star he felt he played like a warrior. And this Knicks player coincided with Frazier’s achievements since 1972.

Tonight, Josh Hart recorded a triple double for the Knicks with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. He became the first Knicks star since Walt Fraser to score a triple double in the playoffs.
Frazier was courtside in Game 6 and witnessed this performance. When talking about Monica McNutt and Josh Hart, Frasier couldn’t be kind to the forwards of former Villanova.
“He’s the center of this team. I saw black eyes, but he wasn’t grossed by it. Good rebound. He’ll grow into you. You look at him, he’ll do whatever it takes to win the game.”
“He’s not worried about the points. In the regular season, he broke my record too… he’s at the heart of this team.”

Josh Hart is not a player who places big numbers on the scoresheet. But he does a rough, tough job for a team that is not noticed by statisticians.
