Punjab Kings (PBK) Head coach Ricky Ponting revealed that Yuzvendra Chahal is suspicious of an IPL 2025 collision with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) due to a shoulder injury. According to Ponting, Chahar took a fitness test before the match and added that it was crucial for the Punjab Kings’ victory over KKR.
The Punjab Kings have drawn the victory by defending the lowest total ever in IPL history. After bowling on just 111 runs, the Schreija Eiyer-led team provided an incredible bowling performance. They won by 16 runs at Maharajayada Bindrasin International Cricket Stadium on April 15th.

Yuzvendra Chahal struggled with form early in the tournament, but only took two wickets in his first five matches. Before the match against KKR, former Indian cricketers Wasim Jafar and Piyush Chawla criticized him for his defensive approach and lack of wickets.

“We can defend it and think it wasn’t too many people around the world who thought we could praise every boy. They said this kind of victory was always the sweetest thing tonight.
