Throughout the first round of the 2025 playoffs, some series were very entertaining. However, the rest is in the rest. The Clippers vs. Nuggets series was a high-level basketball.

On Thursday night, LA was on the verge of exclusion until 3-2 to Denver. The Clippers responded with a 111-105 victory and forced Game 7 on Saturday night. After the team’s victory in Game 6, Ty Lue sent a strong message to the Clippers. He asked players to “lay out everything in the line” in Game 7 of Denver.

The Clippers’ stars appeared on a massive scale against the nuggets in Game 7. Kawhi Leonard had 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. He was 11-22 from the field and 3-4 from the free throw line. Plus, James Harden was solid overall performance for LA. The 11 All-Stars had 28 points, six rebounds, eight assists and two steals. He was 10-20 from the field and 5-5 from the free throw line.

Norman Powell was the third Clippers starter to finish with over 20 points. He scored 24 points along with three rebounds, one assist and two steals. After the team’s victory on Thursday, Ty Rai had a strong message for the Clippers. He asked the players to “lay out everything on every line” in Game 7 on Saturday. Lou said the Clippers are “ready to go.”

Kawhi Leonard has scored over 20 points so far in all six games in this series. But he only has 30 points or more. It came in Game 2 when he scored 39 points. The Clippers need a vintage playoff performance from Leonard in Game 7. You also need a big James Harden game. He played 47 of the team’s 48 minutes in Game 6. TyLue said Harden asked him to do so. LA will need another stunning performance from Leonard and Harden if they want to beat the Nuggets in Game 7. The winner of this series will face the Oklahoma City Thunder. They last played on April 26th after cleaning up the Grizzlies.
