Arsenal is facing athletic club Bilbao tonight in the UEFA Champions League and currently leads 2-0 with LA La Liga outfits.
After not breaking the deadlock for 70 minutes, Mikel Arteta decides to bring Gabriel Martinelli to add pace, talent and urgency to the attack.
The Brazilian scored the opening goal of the game and delivered it to the team within 60 seconds of his arrival. He now set the second goal of his team’s game with the sublime part of personal glow. South America took on the full backing for athletic club Bilbao, creating a goalscoring opportunity for Leandro Toro Third, who was able to find the back of the net from close range.

Gabriel Martinelli is a game changer
Martinelli was not given the start of this game, so he certainly hopes that his performance as an alternative will convince his manager to give him more opportunities in the coming weeks. He hasn’t been at his best in recent months, but there’s no doubt that he’s an incredible talent with a bright future. He is looking to establish himself as a key player for the club this season.
The Brazilians have always been a major threat to come, but he has been criticized for his lack of final products. His goals and support today will help convince the manager that he deserves more opportunities as a starter.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is pleased with the results and they will try to continue the impressive start of the season. Arteta wanted more depth to the offense during the summer transfer period, but the moves in the transfer market have already paid off.
