On Friday (April 5), Mumbai Indian captain Hardik Pandya starred in a ball with the Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, leading from the frontline.
India’s Allrounder has won the 5-wicket haul for the first time in his IPL career. His previous best bowling figure in the IPL was 3/17 when he chose to be captain of the Gujarat Titan against the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 Finals.
Hardik Pandya had an immediate impact on LSG. In the second over, Pandya rejected LSG’s counterpart Rishabh Pant, putting the Mumbai Indians in the driver’s seat.
He then bowled for the 18th LSG innings, picking up a proper set of Idenmark Rum wickets and rejecting 53 LSG openers.
