The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 match between the Indian Women’s Cricket Team and the Pakistan Women’s National Cricket Team has been suspended due to a strange incident.
Indian and Pakistani women were forced to leave the field after bugs made life difficult for players and referees during the match, and the fumigation took place in the middle.
A flock of flies attacked Indian and Pakistani players during the match, and the referee was forced to stop playing
Harmanpreet Kaur-led India and Fatimasana-led Pakistan are locking corners from each other in the high voltage match of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 held at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, October 5th.

Even before the first ball was bowled in the match, several major incidents unfolded. In a toss, Herman Preet flips Fatima, known as the Coin and Tail.
But to my surprise, Mel Jones and the referee in the game thought she had his head on. Pakistani skippers also offered no clarification and simply accepted the outcome.
Later, after a chat with Mel Jones, Fatima Sana returned to the dugout without acknowledging Hermanpreet Kaur, who was not in the mood to shake hands with her Pakistani counterpart.
Meanwhile, India has struggled after being hit first and has been unable to accelerate the innings. During the innings, a strange incident occurred in which the match stopped for about 15 minutes.
Many bugs/flies/insects invaded the ground and stopped the play shortly after the 34th. This happened due to the rain around Colombo.
Meanwhile, fu steaming was done in the center and the ground was cleaned using a pest control spray.

The area of focus is Cricket – Aavishkar Salvi
The Asian Cup 2025 was packed with controversy involving India and Pakistan, and similar issues were expected to arise when the two teams faced off at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. But ahead of the match, Indian bowling coach Aavishkar Salvi said their focus is solely on cricket. He said:
“The area of focus is cricket. I want our girls to bring that ‘A’ game that day. Because the World Cup is a long campaign. It’s a long campaign – many games will be coming closer. ”
Meanwhile, Pakistani female captain Fatima Sana dropped her statement along a similar line, saying she didn’t focus on external noise.
“We have great relationships with all the other teams and we are trying to protect good relationships with everyone,” Sana said a day before the match against India. “We try to do everything in the spirit of the game.
“These pictures from the past have everyone mixing with each other around Bisma’s daughter. Those scenes look good and everyone enjoys watching it. But of course, our focus must be on what we are here.
“We’re like a family of 20-22 here,” Sana said of the team environment in Pakistan. “You don’t worry about what’s going on outside the bubble. You can hear about what’s going on outside of cricket, but it’s focused on the game. The World Cup is something that every player is waiting for.
