Kuldeep Yadav had to leave the field after being injured between the Delhi Capitals and the Rajasthan Royals at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday (April 16).
The incident took place in the 17th time of the Rajasthan Royals Innings, when Mohit Sharma was bowling Nichish Rana. At the final ball of the overs, the fast captain bowled the slow ball outside the stump and Lana decides to scoop the ball.
Kuldeep injured him while fielding.
Kuldeep Yadav stood on short, thin legs. As soon as Lana played the shot, he ran and dived, but then pushed the ball into the boundary rope. And in doing so, Kuldeep Yadav also hurt himself.

He collapsed awkwardly on his left shoulder, and was seen holding it and frowning. Physio soon appeared, and Kuldeep finally decided to leave the field. The Delhi Capitals hope that the injury is not serious and that the spinner will be available for the rest of the season.

The match against the Royals in Rajasthan was not memorable for Kuldeepyadav. Not only did he suffer a shoulder injury, he also blew away his most expensive IPL 2025 spell. For the first time this season, Kuldeep has admitted more than 30 runs in the match.
In the fourth over, he handed out 33 runs and picked up the key wickets of Indian teammate Yashas Vijaiswar. Kuldeep is doing well this season. In six games so far, he has taken 11 wickets.
