Smashing Machine The trailer for “Rock” starring is finally here!
On Tuesday, the A24 released the first official look of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his starring Mark Carr biopic Jungle Cruise co-star Emily Brandt. The pair will be joined on the big screen with MMA veterans Ryan Bader and Bass Rutten and heavyweight boxing champion Olexandre Usaku.

“Rock” is a love letter to a friend who has had a hard time with addiction and mental health.
Director Benny Safdie (Uncut gem),, Smashing Machine The story of Carr, a former UFC heavyweight tournament winner, established himself as a mixed martial arts legend, where substance abuse and it was associated with his then girlfriend, Dawn Staple.
“I will be on this ‘smashing machine’ journey with deep respect and love for all MMA fighters and culture,” Johnson told Instagram. “Especially those who suffer from addiction. From the struggles of addiction and mental health, from suicide… that’s their time. This is my love letter to them.”
In 2002, HBO aired the documentary with the title Smashing Machinedocumented the life and career of MMA icons, Carr’s addiction to painkillers, and dealt with the “unprohibited” aspects of early mixed martial arts events.
The theatrical version of Safdie’s Kerr storyline was a hit with various reviews after it was screened earlier this year, causing many MMA fans to worry about what kind of film they are actually getting. Luckily, we don’t have to wait longer to find ourselves.
Smashing Machine It will be hit in theaters on October 3rd.
