Tim David bumps into his first half century with IPL
Royal Challenger Bengaluru was first invited to the bat in a short match, and had a terrifying outing. RCB continued to lose wickets regularly and finished the innings with a score of 95/9.
However, if Tim David and Rajat Patidar had not made a decent contribution, the royal challenger Bengaluru would have scored even lower.
David hit 50 unbeaten 50 runs from 26 balls on five fours and three sixes, while Rajat Patidar scored 23 runs on one four and one six.
At one point, it was Tim David who guaranteed that the RCB had dropped to 63/9 and that he would score a respectable score on the board by crushing Maiden 50 in the IPL.
In particular, he went vicious against Harpreet Blur in the final of the innings. After playing three dotballs, he dispatched three spinners in a row, long square legs, deep dots. He was walking from the field afterwards, but he was walking from the field as the last ball in the overs turned out to be no ball.
Meanwhile, Tim David also went to the wild Whick for the final delivery of Over, but he couldn’t make the most of it. However, he removed the double from the delivery, which helped him complete the 50.

How did RCB work in previous IPL 2025 matches?
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) held the dominant show in the previous IPL 2025 match, beating the Rajasthan Royals with nine wickets at Sawaman Singh Stadium in Jaipur on April 13th.
The RCB, who chose to pick a bowl first, limited the Rajasthan royal family to a total of 173/4 despite 75 fines from Yashasvi Jaiswar and decent innings from Durf Jurel and Riyan Parag.
Of the six bowlers used by Rajat Patidar, four of them – Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yash Dayal, Josh Hazlewood and Krunal Pandya each bagged one wicket in the innings.
Following 174, RCB openers Phil Salt and Virat Kohli looked offensive from Get-go. Phil Salt was attacked by the Rajasthan Royals bowling unit and blamed 33 balls 65. He remained undefeated at 45-62, raising the 100th T20 50 in the process. Devdutt Padikkal also chipped in from Fluent 40* Off 28 as the RCB completed the Run-Chase with 17.3 over.
In particular, one of the main reasons behind the defeat of the Rajasthan royals in the match was their sloppy fielding as they dropped both Philsalt and Viratkoli early in the innings.
