Vaibhav Suryavanshi shared a heartwarming moment with Ms Dhoni after the match between the Chennai Super Kings and the Rajasthan Royals was completed at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
As Ms Dhoni stood behind the stump, the young Bihar man got a further glimpse into the world of cricket his immeasurable batting talent. He furthered his reputation by earning the QuickFire 50, putting the Rajasthan royal family in the driver’s seat.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi ran 57 runs over just 33 balls. His knock was studded with four four and six six. He was the only player to score 50 in the recently concluded game. After the match ended, the 14-year-old shared a heartfelt moment with Ms Dhoni.

Rajasthan Royals Slash CSK:
The Rajasthan Royals returned to victory with a six-wicket victory highlighting CSK and ended their campaign at IPL 2025 with a victory memo. With goals for 188 runs, the Royals chased the total by just 17.1 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal gave Royals a flying start by breaking 36 runs from just 19 balls.
Suryavanshi and Sanju Samson added 98 runs to the second wicket to put the royals in the driver’s seat. Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed both of them on the same, but the Royals managed to recover and avoid another loss while chasing.
Dhruv Jurel played the match-winning cameo for the first IPL winner, winning an unbeaten 31 from just 12 balls.
Early in the game, CSK finished the innings on 187/8. The five-time champions were caught up in 78/5 in one stage, but have made over 180 recovery and postings in total. Ayush Mhatre scored the top score for CSK and won 20 balls. Dewald Brevis and Shivam Dube were also impressed by the bat, scoring 42 and 39 runs, respectively.
