Webb Simpson and Nico Echavarria have withdrawn from Myrtle Beach Classic, the PGA Tour announced on Monday.
No reason for withdrawal was provided.
Nick Watney and Jonathan Byrd have been confirmed to replace Simpson and Echabaria, respectively, but Cheson Hadley received a restricted sponsor pick, open for an event that begins Thursday at Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Simpson, 39, won the 2012 US Open Championship and seven times on the PGA Tour. He currently stands number 380 in the official world golf rankings. His most recent victory came at the 2020 RBC Heritage and the 2020 WM Phoenix Open.
Echavarria, 30, has won the PGA Tour twice. The Colombian is currently ranked 49th in the official world golf rankings.
