Today, things look a little different.
A few weeks ago, we told you something new is coming to MMA Fighting and today it’s here. Things are beautiful, Faster easy to use. There are the same writers, reports, comments and communities that you’ve come to trust.
Let’s dive in. Scroll down the page on your mobile phone or computer to make it smoother. You’ll notice that most talked about stories have larger fonts that display the number of comments. You will also see a section called Active Conversation, and ask for your busiest conversation right now.
However, there are two changes that we are most excited to tell you:
Less ads for logged in users
Our loyal readers and commenters are the heartbeat of our community and we are excited to offer less ads when we log in with this new design. in particular:
New Community Features for Community: Feed
Today we are launching a brand new space for you to come together. A feed is a running stream of posts and updates from you mixed with links and updates from your team and staff. Think of it as a community group text that allows you to easily grab your phone, share links to stories, post questions, or write your own posts for the day’s news.
You can find it in two places:
Today’s launch is a big deal for our community and is also a kick-off for a broader effort to build around the community here. Soon, someone will reply to your comment or feed post and then you can come more. We want to put our community in the driver’s seat, so let us know what you want in the comments below or in the feed.
If you’d like to dig deeper into this updated experience, check out this post on SBNATION.com from the Head of Product Ed Clinton at SB Nation. He is expanding advertising and design changes. Ed answers the questions in the comments. If you have any questions about how to log in to your new system, check out this article from last week.
