After seeing the team not fall into photos of last season’s Championship playoffs, West Bromwich Albion fans are eager to see new manager Ryan Mason succeed in the Hawthorns dugout.
It’s a very dangerous booking considering that the 33-year-old has little experience as a manager other than the comfort of the Tottenham Hotspur. Still, it is a bold, adventurous booking and could be rewarded, especially if you reach a promotion.
He certainly wants to join him in Buggy and have plenty of new signatures to join him to try and bring the West Midlands Club back to the map.
West Brom is ready to move to EFL Ace
According to journalist Darren Witcoop, West Brom is one of several clubs pursuing the services of Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Kelman in this summer’s transfer window.
Buggy even says he is ready to move on to the recent winner of League One Golden Boots.
Witcoop hasn’t named any other clubs that are allegedly chased after the former Leighton Orient lender, so it will be interesting to see if West Brom will land a desired target alongside Sheffield United, who saw Kelman.
Reuben Selouse’s blade is definitely in the promotional race with the Mason guy. West Brom came to the top and secured a deadly marksman for his new manager, and in the process he won his own Josh Maja style figure.
How Kelman becomes Mason’s own maja
Like the deadly Nigerian, Kelmann had no way of doing it all over his various careers so far, not making his goalscore last season for O’s.
In fact, before his majestic 27-goal hero during the 2024/25 campaign, the 23-year-old was unfortunately hot and cold for many other loan sides, and just five strikes came to the athletic books of both Gillingham and Wigan before clicking in Orient.
Maja endured a similar patch of barren form before finding a suitable place for him in the Hawthorns. The 26-year-old, who is prone to injury, only found the back of the net five times while standing in line in both Stoke City and Fulham.
But now, the Fire duo has thrown away bad memories from past clubs. They know they found their gojo as a striker, so that they homed a glorious effort and didn’t need a second invitation.

Studying the above table, both center forwards have more content with the “keeper” of Pepper rings with regular shots rather than being involved in the play outside of the Fox in the Box approach, with Kelman averaged accurate passes of 6.9 per league collision last season, with Maja only getting 13.5.
Therefore, Kelman could be very suitable for the way West Brom feeds their powerful strikers. Assist King Tom Fellow probably tallied further the 14 assists he managed in the 2024/25 campaign if the 23-year-old quickly drew blue and white.
He was welcomed as a “intelligent” forward player last season by journalist Josh Bunting, and I pray that Kelman can show off his pride in the EFL division.
He never actually scored on an intimidating level, but West Brom gambled Maja with just three three-stage strikes next to his name on arrival.
