West Ham is planning to sell Mohamed Kudus this summer, and his exit will allow him to spend a lot of money on the Graham Potter team. Many areas have been addressed, and in the defense and midfield one main target is identified each.
West Ham wants to win over £60 million in net for the quadruple that Chelsea and Tottenham want. Sales could take place in the coming weeks, at which point the club is ready to move forward with signatures.
West Ham wants El Haji Malik Diuf and Oscar Mingueza
According to Hammers.news, West Ham recruiting director Kyle Macaulay gave him a green light to explore the defender and midfielder deal: Oscar Mingeza and El Haji Malik Diuff.
Normally operated as a left midfielder, Malik Diuff, who can play at left back, is available for around £21.5 million, and that figure has floated after West Ham recently offered £17 million. Slavia Prague resigned to lose her 20-year-old, which attracted attention from Crystal Palace earlier this year.
Formerly from Barcelona, Mingueza is a candidate to leave Celta Vigo this summer, and contract talks are stagnating between him and La Liga Club. He has a £17 million release clause that West Ham can be revitalized.
It is clear that West Ham will require a significant team change, and it is clear that at Malik Diuff and Mingueza, the Hammer will get two players who will significantly improve Potter’s options. For now, it is still unclear whether these transactions will be able to be completed, but the final details could be postponed until Quadus confirms its expected departure from London Stadium.
