West Ham has had a challenging summer so far, but one positive positive has been seen clear from the allegations of spot amendment by Lucas Paketa. Brazil International can start playing football in a cloudless place above his head, but that could happen away from London Stadium.
Many clubs are linked to the end of the summer moves of Paketa, with the latest being Crystal Palace. West Ham is believed to be ready to sell him if the price is correct, but will prefer to keep their valuable playmakers.
West Ham hopes £60 million to sell Lucas Paketa this summer
As reported by GivemeSport (via West Ham Zone), West Ham is ready to sell Paqueta if it receives an offer of at least £60 million.
West Ham will not hear the offers from the two players between the present and the end of the summer transfer period. They are Jarod Bowen and Aaron Wang Bissaka. Paqueta is one of several stars that can leave, but the club makes it clear that the deal will only take place on that terms.
Malick Diouf, Kyle Walker-Peters, Callum Wilson and Mads Hermansen are four signatures West Ham has made so far this summer, and more will need before the transfer window closes, based on Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Sunderland.
And West Ham may need someone like Paketa to leave to be added to Graham Potter’s team. Anyway, it takes time for the club to move, but it will be interesting to see if the spells of the last three years at London Stadium end this summer.
