West Ham is expected to prioritize signing a new striker this summer, allowing Premier League veterans to ride the radar during their transfer period.
It was a struggle season for West Ham. West Ham currently ranks 16th in the Premier League table and has eight games. They almost certainly avoid demoting, but director Graham Potter’s goal is to start moving up in the 2025-26 campaign.
And to do so, new strikers will be needed to launch attacks with Jarrod Bowen, Mohamed Kudos and Cresencio Summerville. Niclas Fullkrug has been struggling since arriving from Borussia Dortmund last summer, but Evan Ferguson, who had no impact on her participation in January, will return to Brighton in the summer.
West Ham was told to leave Leicester City to praise Jamie Birdie
Many options are being considered by West Ham’s sports director, but according to Leicester’s Fox, Troy Deeney urged him to move to the Hammer for Jamie Vardy, who could leave Leicester City at the end of the season.
At 38, Vardy has scored seven goals in the Premier League this season. This is the amount of each person being exiled. He has no plans to retire at this stage, so he can choose to stay on top flights, and West Ham could become a club that considers him an option.
Vardy has been with Leicester City for 13 years, but with his contract up over the summer, it could be time for him to move in. He’s been linked to Man United in recent months, but West Ham will certainly be a much more realistic move for him.
