West Ham United reportedly are still considering a possible deal to sign Burnley defender CJ Egan-Riley despite facing competition from other clubs.
Hammer could do it in a strong transfer window after such a brooding season, with the East London Club in 15th place at the Premier League table.
Graham Potter will want to make changes to this West Ham team, inherited from Julen Lopetegui, who was fired after a very poor start early in the season.
Egan Riley looks like a potential player to become a smart signature for West Ham. The 22-year-old has shown great potential in his performance at the championship this season.
West Ham is still on CJ Egan-Riley
According to former Twitter Jacob Steinberg, WHUFC is still keen on Egan-Riley’s potential deal, even if it interests from other locations…
It will be interesting to see if West Ham can see the competition for the signatures of the Under 21 International.
If so, it could be a wise adoption by West Ham, who needs to do better to snap the best young talent before their rivals do so.
CJ Egan-Riley is also strongly linked to Strasbourg.
Talksport’s Alex Crook makes a big claim that he had already agreed to a five-year deal to join the Ligue 1 costume Strasbourg, referring to the following as previously reported on the future of Egan-Riley…
It could be an attractive project for Egan Riley. Egan Riley may feel that moving abroad at this stage of his career can emulate other top English talents.
Strasbourg is also part of the Blue Co., which owns Chelsea, so if he works well, it could even pave the way for a future move to Stamford Bridge.
