Draymond Green reveals about Stephen Curry’s mood on the bench.
Following a 117-110 loss in Game 4, the Golden State Warriors are just one loss as they are eliminated in the Western Conference semi-finals against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Dub has fought difficult battles throughout the series. Especially considering that he played without Stephen Curry except for the 13th minute.
The assassin who faces the baby has been ruled out in the last three games due to hamstring tension, and the Game 5 contest could also be missed. Despite failing to affect the game on the floor, Curry is contributing to the team from the bench.
It has been confirmed that they won’t reach the Western Conference Finals this year, unless the Warriors have won three straight games.
He can’t play due to the Warriors on the floor, so many must be wondering how curry feels. Well, veteran forward Draymond Green answered a fiery question during a media interview after Game 4.
“He’s not silent. He’s talking and communicating with everyone. He’s like the voice between the coach and the players for now,” Green said.
“But you can say he’s uneasy. He started grabbing the ball, dribbling, and wanted to shoot.
There have been reports that curry could potentially return to potential game 6 of the series. But so far, the Timberwolves have taken full control over the dub, so the chances are pretty slim.
In addition to Green, Kevon Rooney spent several years as a teammate for the Warriors as Curry’s teammate. Like Draymond, Rooney finds he’s irritated while Curry tries to keep him bright.
“Stef is the same as usual. He’s pretty bright. You can say he’s killing him so he’s not on the floor. But he’s trying to maintain a positive mind. It requires his leadership and energy.
“He’s not playing, but he still gives that confidence and that wealth of knowledge he has in his side hustle. And everyone still looks to him for guidance and his wisdom,” Rooney said.
He added: “He’s trying to stay positive, but I know he’s very frustrating to not be there, but when he’s in court he’s trying to mentor us.”
No matter how many curry wants to help overcome the odds and win the series, he cannot risk an early return from hamstring tension at this point in his career.
The best thing for him is to rest until he recovers completely and if he loses Game 5 of the series, he tries to help the dub win in the NBA Championship next season.
