Mike Brown is expected to replace Tom Thibodeau as the New York Knicks’ next head coach.
The Knicks fired Thibodeau despite an impressive playoff run as they missed a great opportunity to make the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.
The search for a New York Thibodeau alternative is controversial, to say the least. The organization links with more than 10 candidates.
Now, the Knicks have finally settled down brown. The former Sacramento Kings coach has a solid reputation supported by LeBron James in 2023.
Brown’s first head coaching role in the NBA appeared with the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2005 to 2010. In 2009, the Cavs won the Coach of the Year Award for finishing 66-16.
He then failed two times, and the Los Angeles Lakers and Cavaliers once again joined the Golden State Warriors as Steve Kerr’s assistant.
In 2022, Brown was appointed head coach for the Sacramento Kings, and immediately looked back at the franchise.
The Kings have not made the playoffs since 2006, but Brown led 48 wins before losing to the Warriors in an epic 7-game series.
He was named Coach of the Year for the second time, and LeBron James fully agreed to the decision. He tweeted: “Handdown!!!! Mike Brown got them a boy!!!”
It definitely says a lot that the biggest players at all time rates are very brown. Respect from players is just as important as the NBA coaching abilities, with both Browns rich.

Mike Brown only lasted one season with the La Lakers despite winning 41 of 66 games and playing the Western Conference semi-finals.
James told ESPN shortly after he thought his former coach was being unfairly rejected. “I think it’s a shame,” he said.
“To be honest, I don’t think he’s been fair. Last year’s season was short and in five games this year he really didn’t get a full season.
“I have a lot of things, but I’m not going to say that now. I hope he’s the best, but I think it’s a shame.
Hopefully, Brown’s Knicks’ tenure will be much better, but there will not be a shortage of pressure to succeed in New York.
