Draymond Green revealed that the Miami Heat had “unprecedented” during a game against the Golden State Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors experienced a 112-86 defeat in the hands of the heat and fell to seventh in the Western Conference standings.
Jimmy Butler has not been able to influence his first game in Miami since his deal with the Warriors.
However, his former teammates Bam Adebayo and Tyler Hero led the way to the Miami Heat with 47 points in the evening.
Erik Spoelstra’s men nailed three pointers, 17-25. This would be 68% shooting.
The Heat played a great game overall as it included the Warriors in 23.7% shooting beyond the Ark, but after losing one in a row he shot well to win the second in a row.
Speaking about the fever on “The Draymond Green Show,” the Warriors forward said: “I think the environment is cool.
“It wasn’t one of the most difficult circumstances, but what didn’t help was that they turned into a bunch of Steph Curry, like they shot 18s with 3 to 25 people.
Draymond had slightly overestimated their success, but as mentioned, 17-25 was still an outstanding night of shooting from the 3.
Heat fans welcomed the previous players with boos and applause, and Green was confused.
He added:
Green shared a moment with former teammate Andrew Wiggins after the game.
“Obviously, p____ of what we lost, that was a game we needed to win, but I’m glad to see the Wigs do well.
“The love there, it’s more than just a game,” Green said.
The Warriors currently have only nine games left to play in the regular season, making them seventh in the ranking behind the Raclippers.
The two teams have similar records, but the Clippers have been in great shape these days, and James Harden is also playing great basketball for them.
The Warriors will have games against the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets in the coming days. These are important to determine where the team will finish in the rankings.
Although Steph Curry is expected to return soon from his injury, the Warriors will need Butler to put a load on his shoulder in at least some games.
They’ve improved significantly over the past two months, but it all comes down to how they finish the regular season, as they decide matchups in the playoffs and ultimately help them with a title push.
