Manchester United is now in the position of Paul to sign one of Europe’s most sought after giving an active first talk, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

United Falter Against the Wolf

After being one of the most disastrous campaigns in the club’s history, Manchester United’s season hit a new low on Sunday as they lost 1-0 to the Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford. Pablo Saravia’s epic free kick proved the difference, taking the wolf victory to five, leveling up on points against United at the Premier League table.

The loss also confirmed the Red Devils’ tough milestone. Even if they win all five remaining matches, they won’t be able to surpass the 58-point finish recorded in 2021/22 under Ole Gunnar Solskia and Ralph Langnick.

After the defeat, Amorim reflected United’s struggle, telling the day’s BBC match:

The Portuguese manager also suggests major changes ahead of the summer transfer period, indicating that recruitment will be a key focus.

Manchester United fell to yet another Premier League defeat against the Wolves this afternoon.

“We have to see everything — our team, what we have to do in the market. We will see,” he said. “We’ll talk about next season every day. Over time, we’ll get what we need to improve our team.”

One of the players on the way to Old Trafford this summer is the very long wolf Masteuscuña. The Brazilian didn’t find a net that won the Wolves’ United over the weekend, but he was a standout performer for Molyneux this season. His 14 Premier League goals – many of them, along with stunning long-distance efforts – along with four assists, helped the wolves escape the trouble of relegation.

Despite signing a new contract with the club in February, Cunha’s eye-catching form was firmly placed on the radar of several top flight clubs, including Arsenal, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest. According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, it is now united that leads the tracking of his signature.

Romano, who wrote on Monday in X, revealed that the first lecture between Cunha and United was positive and that personal terms have already been discussed. He also noted that United are fully aware of growing interest from other clubs and Cunha’s £62.5 million release clause.

Speaking about Cunha in November, the former Premier League defender described him as “absolutely sensational.”
