The Los Angeles Lakers tweaked their roster following the end of the NBA Summer League.

The Los Angeles Lakers were not eligible for the playoffs in the 2025 NBA Summer League. Nonetheless, there were some outstanding things during the campaign.

Of course, Bronnie James had several excellent performances, including a defensive masterclass against the Dallas Mavericks’ Cooper Flag.

Putting that aside, the Lakers signed four draft players, RJ Davis, Arthur Karma, Eric Dixon and Augusta Marschlionis, displaying 10 contracts.

6’7, 220 pounds was declared for the 2025 NBA Draft after spending four seasons in college. Despite his stellar NCAA career, Karma was not drafted.

He averaged 12.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 134 appearances during his college career. But as far as his shooting is concerned, Karma certainly has room for improvement.

After all, he shot 43.8% from the field and 32.1% from the college’s three-point line. He can improve it, but the remarkable strength of karma is his star rebound.

The 23-year-old showed continued growth in the division, allowing him to impress the Lakers to ultimately score a better deal.

Considering that Kaluma signed the exhibit 10 deal, it means he won a shot at the Lakers training camp.

If he was impressed there, he could win a nod for a preseason game and last a two-way contract. However, he needs to perform better than during the summer league.

Kaluma’s most notable contributions were 4.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in the summer league.

The Lakers seem to trust Karma to reach his NCAA Heights, at least in terms of rebounds. After all, he led the team in game-by-game rebounds in his final year with the Texas Longhorns.
