The Los Angeles currently have 15 pitchers on their injured list. This indicates that injuries from last season resumed in 2025.

Nevertheless, manager Dave Roberts remains optimistic that most pitchers on the sidelines now will be revived as the season progresses.

“We’re sure we’ll get all of them back,” Roberts said Wednesday. “I don’t know when.”

The are hoping to see a few pitchers return later in the season, but Roberts made it clear that preserving many of the October weapons is a priority.

“There’s certainly a sense of caution in that when it comes to returning to play,” Roberts said. “If you start to enter the middle of the year, any setback can be harmful for the rest of the season.”

The 2024 season served as a warning substance for the . The team achieved the ultimate goal of winding up the commissioner’s trophy, but the injured pitching staff only made the October journey even more complicated.

Baseball business president Andrew Friedman confirmed that the injury pushed the front office to actively pursue pitching talent last offseason. Despite these successful efforts, the health of the pitching staff remains a concern for 2025.
