Michael Chandler believes that the UFC’s expected White House invasion will beat all other events.
Since President Donald Trump claimed to host Fight Night cards on the White House lawns in 2026, fighters have fallen on themselves to try to secure what is already being tapped as the biggest show in ultimate fighting championship history.
“The UFC is the best combat sports organization on the planet,” Chandler told TMZ Sports. “You want to talk about the big show: UFC 100, 200, 300, spheres… But the White House is head and shoulders above all of them.”
Michael Chandler wants to fight McGregor in the White House
Of course, Chandler had to shoot a shot between the themes and wanted an off-agen clash for a reunion with Conor McGregor to cite the headlines for the event at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“It’s definitely the battle I want,” Chandler said. “It’s a battle that everyone knows what I want. I’ve publicly said that’s the battle I want, but I’m not going to wait for that battle. I can fight Charles (Oliveira) and Paddy (Pinblett) so you can see.
It remains to be seen whether the UFC will be able to get clearance to compete in the White House, but if Dana White’s recent comments about John Jones are indicators, “notorious” may be seeing this from his living room.
