According to markReal Madrid has put Arsenal’s William Saliba’s name at the top of its list of potential targets in the backline as they plan to rebuild their team this summer.
Thanks to their performance against Real Madrid, among other things, Saliba and his team have locked Paris Saint-Germain and Horn in the Champions League semi-finals. They lost their first leg at home at 0-1, but there is clearly a strong belief in their ranks that their ties are very far apart.
As is the case, Saliba’s performance in both quarterfinals, with Arsenal winning 3-0 and 1-2, stood out from the rest of the Gunners’ excellent defense. Real has been watching for a while now, 24, but considers that he is among the best centre-backs in the game at the moment, and Arsenal and Saliba himself are aware of his interest in his services this summer.
