Wolverhampton Wanderers will be in the market for new strikers this summer. According to a recent report from Italy, Old Gold is eager to sign Lazio centre forward Teicusticusticusticusticusticastellano.
Any movement could cost around £29 million on the Molineux side. This may turn out to be a problem unless Vitor Pereira sells a small number of players to raise funds.
It’s not just the core that’s needed ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Another midfielder would go a long way to see them finishing on the top half of the Premier League table.
Wolf’s eyes move for the Premier League midfielder
Old Gold has expressed interest in Chelsea midfielder Kiannan Deucebury Hall, but he is also keen to bring Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott to the Midlands this summer.
According to Givemesport, the wolves will accelerate consultations on securing Elliott’s £50 million service. The weekly midfielder remains on his current contract at Anfield for two years, but the door is Wolf Ajal, as he has not been able to establish himself in Starting XI this season.
He has a lot of experience on top flights and gives Pereira’s side an extra in the final third.
The pair could form the dream duo for next season as Portuguese managers dive down to strengthen their offensive division.
Why should wolves sign Harvey Elliott this summer?
The British made his debut at Liverpool in the 2019/20 season, just a few months after joining Fulham.
Since then he has accumulated nearly 150 competitive appearances for the Reds, scoring 14 times and recording 19 assists.
However, he has been struggling during game time this season. He only started five times with the club, but scored against PSG and PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.
In the Premier League last season, he showed off his offensive qualities, creating five major opportunities, averaging 1.1 key passes and an average of 1.4 shots per game.

He is adept at finding the back of the net or generating opportunities, so by deploying him to the wings, he could see him shine in Castellanos.
In fact, when compared to European top five league position peers, Elliott ranks in the top 1% in progressive passes (9.41), top 9% in shot-making actions (5.3), and top 12% in previous 365-day assists (0.34).
These statistics show how much of a threat he is in the final third. Castellanos scored 14 goals for Lazio this semester and scored eight assists.
If he moves to the UK, Pereira will need a player behind him who can provide many opportunities for Argentine strikers.
By signing someone like Elliott, the club will have a solid, homemade midfielder who can operate in several positions.
It depends on the fees that Liverpool is owed to, but if it’s within budget, the wolf has to do everything he can to take him to the Midlands.
