Demand for tickets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup has increased following the success of the Lioness at the European Championships, according to ticketing site Viagogo.

England’s opening game in the finals on Friday at Allianz Stadium Twickenham on September 27th is the most interesting.
Organizers hope that next month’s Twickenham Final will break attendance records for women’s rugby matches.
Tickets for the finals are sold out, with around 82,000 supporters set at Twickenham.

The existing record set for the women’s XVS fixture is 58,498, with England winning the 2023 Six Nations Grand Slam, beating France 38-33 at Twickenham.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, a crowd of 66,000 people watched the opening day of the women’s rugby sevens program at Stade de France.
