England made 13 changes to their second women’s Rugby World Cup match against Samoa in Northampton on Saturday.
Winger Jess Bleach and center Megan Jones are the only players on the starting side to win the US in the tournament opener last week.
In the back, Lucy Packer and Helena Roland line up in scrum and fly halfs, while Jade Shekels partners with Jones in the middle.
Bleach switches to the right wing, with Claudia Moloney McDonald singing in full back on the left.
In the forward, Kelsey Clifford, Lark Atkin Davis and Sarah Bern form the front row, with Lily Ives Campion and Rosie Garrigan on the rocks.
The backrow sees Marley Packer return as the captain of the open side flanker and Maddie Finati, with Abi Burton starting from No. 8 on the blindside.
Coach John Mitchell said he has plans to make a choice to head to the group stage before the tournament.

“We’re planning on giving everyone a game time in the first two pool games, and at Bar Holly (Aitchison), we were able to do that with this choice,” Mitchell said.
“Our new combinations are proud of each other and want to build on their performance against USA in the opening match.
“It’s going to be a great atmosphere for them, one of the most traditional rugby sites in the country. They’re all excited to be out there.”
