Flanker Marley Packer will be available for England’s opening match at the Women’s Rugby World Cup after being banned for one match on Sunday.
Captain Packer was sent off on Saturday after a 97-7 victory over Spain in the World Cup warm-up in Leicester.
With the rack cleared out, her shoulders targeted and bent the leg of the full-back Claudia Pena.

Packer did not admit that it was a red card attack in her disciplinary hearing, but the panel opposed and thought the foul play was reckless.
She will miss England’s final warm-up against France next Saturday.
England will hold the World Cup against the US on August 22nd in Sunderland.
