In response to critics, Levy worked on the club’s expenditure and said he could not use anything Tottenham doesn’t have.
“We’ve read the call to spend more given that we are ranked as the ninth-best club in the world,” Levi said (via the Guardian).
“But a close look at today’s financial figures reveals that such spending must be sustainable in the long term and within operating revenue ranges. The ability to generate repetitive revenues determines the payout.
“We can’t spend what we don’t have. We don’t compromise on the financial stability of this club. In fact, our off-pitch revenues significantly complement the decline in football revenue this year.
Amid widespread dissatisfaction with taxation among Spurs supporters, pressure has been put on dugout post-coglu, and calls for Australia to be fired.
Post-Coglu’s future in Tottenham is “serious doubt” (athletic), and Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraora is considered Levy’s top manager target for the potential replacement at the age of 59.
There will also be another change on the second floor, with former management director Fabio Paratiti reportedly gaining interest from the Spurs as Italy’s global ban ends on June 30th.
Last week’s report from Italy said Tottenham is ready to make a “rich offer” to Parachti, claiming that the former Juventus chief is holding Levy’s speech. Now the latest updates on this have been revealed by Bootroom and journalist Graeme Bailey.
Daniel Levy “works hard” to appoint Fabio Paratiti in Tottenham
According to their information, Levi actually negotiated with Parachti that occurred last week, and the Spurs chair is determined to seal his return to Hotspur before AC Milan.
Bailey writes that Levy is “working hard” to re-appoint Parity at Tottenham, and Rossonelli throws a real thru in the hunt for the new manager, which is not spurring.
Levi pleads with Paratiti during consultations with the Italians and returns to “finish what he has begun.”
The 52-year-old was forced to resign after enjoying a productive stint as Tottenham’s managing director, signing Rodrigo Bentancourt, Dejan Crucevsky, Yves Bissouma, Cristian Romero, Pedro Porro, Djed Spence, Destiny Udogie and Pape Sarr.
Paratici is also believed to play a leading role in persuading Guglielmo Vicario to join Spurs despite being banned at the time, and staff remains extremely popular among sections of the fan base.
