“I hope I can push (next season).
“This is my team. I’m committed to them. It’s just a situation where I always talk a lot. I need to think about my future, my career and what’s best just to be here.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen around the corner. If I had it, if it was here, I’d play all the games here and stay here for the rest of my career, but it’s all the managers, the people above, and as I said, as long as I’m here, I’ll stay here, and this is the club I want to do.”
Does Harvey Elliott have a future in Liverpool?
The 22-year-old midfielder has made 24 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season, most of which come from the bench.
Slots are in full faith in his regular starters, and he does not spin them, resulting in less playing time to players on the bench.
Elliott is still young, but he can develop more of his game and prove himself in the upcoming seasons.
There have been reports that Liverpool is considering getting cash from him this summer, but it is still unclear whether the player and slot will be decided.
