  • Jason Jackson def. Andrey Koreshkov PFL World Tournament 1 in 2025: Best Photos

Former Bellator champion Jason Jackson has made it to the semi-finals of the 2025 PFL welterweight tournament.

Jackson (19-5) ruled and stopped fellow former Bellator champion Andrei Koleshkov in the main event of the 2025 PFL World Tournament 1 at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Florida.

Jackson dominated the action from start to finish. With his feet and grappling, he made Koreshkov (28-6) better in the first round of a 170-pound collision.

In the second round, it’s scary as Jackson landed some illegal elbows behind Koleshkov’s head. Jackson was not disqualified as Shot was deemed unintentional. Instead, Koleskov was given time to recover, Jackson was given warning, and the fight resumed.

Shortly after the battle resumed, the battle ended. Jackson shot to get a takedown and quickly moved to the mount, landing a few shots before getting Koleskhov’s back. It was when he sank into a naked chalk in the rear, bringing the Russians to sleep at the 4:21 mark of round two.

The victory allowed Jackson to bounce back to PFL champion Ramazan Kuramagomedov in the Bellator Championship series from his defeat in June. Before losing to Kuramagomedovk, Jackson had advanced to an eight-match winning streak, so he won the Bellator Welterweight title.
