Action in Europe looms on Wednesday night, with another packed schedule from across the continent.

There will be a series of heavyweight showdowns in the Champions League, with Real Madrid and struggling Liverpool likely to take center stage.

So here are some of the most appealing Champions League betting tips for those looking to keep up the midweek hectic.

20:00 Real Madrid vs Juventus

Xabi Alonso may have only just arrived in the Spanish capital over the summer, but Real Madrid have quickly made a sensational rise under the former Bayer Leverkusen manager. Los Blancos returned from their October international break with a 1-0 away win against Getafe, and found themselves in a red-hot camp. Last seen in the Champions League with a 5-0 away win over European debutants Kairat Almaty, Wednesday’s hosts won nine of their first 10 games across all competitions. Similarly, Madrid, who started their European adventure with a 2-1 win over French side Marseille on September 16, are emerging as this season’s outstanding title contenders. With their eyes firmly set on a historic 16th European domestic title, Alonso’s side also have a reputation for growing dominance in their home country. In fact, Madrid won their first five matches at the Bernabéu by an aggregate score of 10-3.

Juventus may have jumped out of the trap at the start of the 2025/26 season by winning each of their first three Serie A games, but the old lady has fought back in alarming fashion. The pressure appears to be on Igor Tudor’s shoulders after he was last seen at the weekend after returning from an October international break following a 2-0 defeat away to Como. Juve, whose Champions League adventure has begun after back-to-back stalemates in European games against Villarreal and Borussia Dortmund, have failed to win any of their past six appearances in all competitions. The rut dates back to September 13th. Similarly, Tudor’s team, which drew back-to-back blanks domestically for the first time since mid-March, will need to brace themselves for another heavyweight challenge here. The Italian icon, who is still waiting for his first Champions League win, is understandably positioned as the main underdog on foreign soil.

Real Madrid vs Juventus betting tips: Real Madrid win & within 4.5 goals against Privet in 20/21

20:00 Eintracht Frankfurt vs Liverpool

Arne Slott may have enjoyed a record-breaking debut at Anfield last season as Liverpool charged towards their 20th domestic title, but the reigning Premier League champions found themselves in the midst of a social crisis. The former Feyenoord manager has come under increasing scrutiny after suffering a further heartbreak at the weekend of his return from a two-week break in October with a 2-1 home defeat to historic rivals Manchester United. The Reds went into the October international break with another 2-1 defeat at Chelsea, but the Reds have suffered surprising defeats in each of their last four appearances in all competitions. Wednesday’s hosts are desperate for essential European reinforcement here as they tumble down the Premier League table. Despite starting their Champions League campaign with an action-packed 3-2 win against Atletico Madrid on September 17, Slott’s side continue to show worrying defensive issues. In fact, the Reds have not kept a clean sheet in their last seven games.

Eintracht Frankfurt may have caused a real upset last season, winning bronze among Germany’s elite teams, but this time the Eagles failed to find true fluidity. Dino Topmoller’s side, last seen in the Champions League with a nightmarish performance in a 5-1 defeat to Atletico, have won just one of their last five appearances in all competitions. Frankfurt have a reputation for struggling defensively as they head into the October two-week interval following a customary 3-0 defeat at Bayern Munich. Wednesday’s hosts have yet to keep a clean sheet this season, including a shocking 4-3 defeat at home to Union Berlin on September 21. Despite looking to score Europe’s signature goal here, it should also be emphasized that Topmoller’s side have scored an astonishing 18 goals across all fronts in their last five games.
