Liverpool defender Trent Alexander Arnold is tied to a move away from the club at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old became a free agent in the summer, and he has not yet signed an extension with the club. Real Madrid is expected to secure his signature on a free transfer, and reports from football insiders claim Liverpool is already moving away from players, and he is no longer part of Arne Slot’s plan.
Initially there was rumour that Liverpool could try to persuade players to sign the extension, but there appears to be no way back for the defender.
He has been an exceptional servant of Liverpool for many years, and he has helped them win some major trophies. He will now try to try new challenges at this stage of his career. The report believes Real Madrid has already won the race to sign him, and claims he is expected to link with his international teammate Jude Bellingham at the Spanish club.
Trent Alexander Arnold could become a star in Real Madrid
Signing a player of his quality on a free transfer represents a master stroke for any club. There is no doubt that the 26-year-old is a world-class player. He’s quickly back, but he’s one of the best passersby in world football and has been able to add a new dimension to Real Madrid’s offense.
The Spanish giants are widely regarded as one of the largest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to join them can be difficult for any player to refuse. England International can hardly condemn his desire to join them. He has proven himself in the Premier League and has nothing left to win in British football.
