The Golden State Warriors have a new look this season, and are one win from making the Western Conference semi-finals.

Klay Thompson left Golden State Warriors to free agency in the summer of 2024 was an emotional moment, marking the beginning of the core division of basketball’s most successful team.

And the Warriors looked like a force used, as Stephen Curry and Draymond Green struggled to lift the team, especially in December and January.

Curry warns the front office not to mortgage the future before the trade deadline, which turns out they don’t need to.

Jimmy Butler’s clever deal instantly reinvigorated the Warriors, with Draymond Green talking about how the move changed the team’s season.

Former Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies star Tony Allen was impressed by the way the Golden State Warriors played in this playoff series.

Speaking to Grind City Media, Allen admitted that for a long time the Warriors had thought they had made the mistake of allowing Klay Thompson to leave.

Now, reevaluating the team’s current makeup, he pointed out two players he thinks has offset the exit for the four-time NBA champions.

Allen praised Brandin Posiemski and Jimmy Butler, and is confident that the Warriors have now turned the ship around.

He explained:

“I used to be like, ‘They should have gotten the clay out,’ but now it’s fine. ”

The Golden State Warriors have begun to heat up the season. DeAnthony Melton’s injury then knocked out completely off the course.

Jimmy Butler’s trade had a huge impact, allowing them to turn the season around, eventually coming in seventh and outside the top 10.

Last season, the Warriors finished 10th and were sent out in the play-in tournament amid Klay Thompson’s nightmare performance against the Sacramento Kings.

Like Klay Thompson, the Warriors now look strong with Brandin Podziemski’s improvements and Jimmy Butler’s tenacity.
