The New York Knicks have overcome two 20-point deficits in a row to defeat the Boston Celtics, and fans are shell-shocked.

In the third quarter of both the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics’ playoff games, the Celtics took a 20-point lead, but in the fourth quarter of both contests the Knicks were able to return and win.

In both games, the Knicks were overtaken by Boston, and the Celtics shot more three-pointers than New York, but they still couldn’t sneak out of the victory.

However, New York has largely neutralised Jason Tatum, and Boston was unable to hit the numerous open shots they created themselves.

Boston Celtics fan and NBA analyst Bill Simmons called for Jalen Brown’s overwhelming performance in Game 1 of the series.

Simmons responded with an X, responding to a loss in Game 2, comparing it to the upset Celtics that he suffered in the opener.

He simply writes: “I felt sick,” he refers to the pain he felt as a team struggling with defeat.

During the regular season, Mikal Bridges shot 35.4% from Deep, and Josh Hart got even worse, only able to do 33.3% of his attempts.

Throughout the first two games, Bridge and Hart take more shots than regular season average, one of which doesn’t shoot the lights. This was a central part of Boston’s defensive plan, but it simply wasn’t working.

In all definitions of words, none of Nick controls. On defense, they successfully locked up Tatum, but Boston simply couldn’t close the game despite poor performance from most Knicks.

This season, Boston has attempted 48.2 3 seconds per game. They put a ferocious 36.8% above the league’s average of 36%.

Against the Knicks, Boston averages 50 attempts per game from DEEP, but only converted 25 times.

Their proportions. Their plan, winning 61 games, was to shoot the lights every night.

Certainly there were some games that didn’t work out, but their 4-0 regular season record suggests they had the Knicks number. They just lost their mojo.
