Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has been linked to the move to the Premier League for several months.
The players appear to head to Arsenal at the end of this season. According to Noticias de Gipuzkoa, the melodrama surrounding the future of the midfielder is now over. He will head to Arsenal next season. The Premier League side will pay around 60 million euros to sign the 26-year-old midfielder.
I confirmed the same thing with Fabrizio Romano.
Liverpool has tried to sign players in the past, but they have not managed to get the deal done. Spain International has been outstanding for the club and country for the past 12 months and should prove to be a quality acquisition of Arsenal.
Arsenal needed midfield reinforcements.
They will need to bring in quality alternatives to Gorguinho, and the 26-year-old should be able to fill the gap left behind in Italy internationally.
Zubimendi adds control, calm and defensive cover to Arsenal midfield. He has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League, and he is looking to establish himself as a key player in the gunner.
Martin Zubimendi must be a quality addition
Arsenal hopes to compete for major trophies next season, and they need to improve their teams during the summer window. A quality midfielder can make a big difference for them. They should also consider improving attack units. They sometimes looked teethless on attacks.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Spanish International is at the peak of his strength, with him aiming to hit the ground running in the Premier League. He has proven himself a reliable performer of the club and the country, and he could also hit British football. Zubimendi won the UEFA Nations League and Euro in 2023 and 2024 with Spain.
