Ahead of the High Stakes Five Match Test Series between India and the UK, legendary batsman VVS Luxman was founded mainly by London’s Silmangill-led national team. However, VVS Laxman is not officially in India or A-Team, support staff or tour parties.
Despite his precious presence around Laxman’s Indian dressing room and his involvement during the in-Squad warm-up game, there is no formal word since BCCI assigned him the role. He reportedly is around the team and is just as casual.
Before the LEEDS test, VVS Laxman was found near the Indian cricket team
Laxman is the head of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and is deeply involved in shaping the future of India’s cricket. His extensive experience in English conditions played 34 first class matches, including 11 tests against India. So when a red ball genius is seen in an Indian camp, speculation explodes.

It is said that Laxman may have provided tactical input to coaching groups or selectors ahead of the five-match Test series that begins June 20th in Leeds on June 20th. However, he was reportedly informally invited to lead young batters to play swing dukes ball.
In fact, Laxman was recently in Switzerland for a meeting, but after that he suddenly detoured to London. However, the legendary Indian batsman may leave in a day or two, but it has been confirmed that the BCCI has not signed him in his ongoing England Tour capabilities.
VVS Laxman does not hold official roles in the team: BCCI source
A source from the BCCI was quoted as saying, “He went there for other purposes, not for missions with the Indian team. He traveled to London from Lausanne.”
Another source said: “The goal is to win in England, and he may have spoken with the coaches and selectors here, or perhaps even attended an S-Squad match. But he hasn’t played an official role with this team.”
VVS Laxman reportedly traveled to Switzerland to attend the meeting. Another source said, “He went to Switzerland and simply stopped in London to spend time with the boys. It was always part of his plan.”

Gautam Gambhir rejoins the Indian team before the first test
Meanwhile, the presence of VVS Laxman over the London Indian team has sparked some curiosity, especially as head coach Gautam Gambhir is not on the team at the moment. Gambil returned to Delhi with his mother after being hospitalized recently after a heart attack.
A source close to Gambhir was quoted as saying that Cricbuzz “will definitely be re-joining the team before the first test.” He consulted the doctor about his mother’s condition, which improved, but she is in the ICU. However, he soon plans his return. ”
After finishing a practice match against India A at Beckenham, the Indian team will take a break on June 16th and travel to Leeds on June 17th. They will face Ben Stokes and his England team at the 5-match Test Series opener held at Headingley, Leeds on June 20th.
