Andy Robertson’s future in Liverpool is reportedly leaning towards the move to Atletico Madrid.
According to football insiders, the fullback is closer to leaving Anfield, with Robertson’s role being significantly reduced, primarily due to Liverpool’s intention to introduce Bournemouth’s Milos Kerquez.
Ben Jacobs reports that the Reds are approaching Kerkez’s signature and that the deal is expected to close next week.
After a very successful spell with Robertson at the club, the door opened for Robertson to eventually leave the club.

Former Scoutmic Brown and transfer-related issues experts discussed the possibility that Robertson would leave the club this summer.
He even said the Reds were determined to allow the Scottish left back to leave the club.
“Well, they were looking to replace Robertson.” He told the soccer insider.
“I think Kerquez is a top-class option, he will go to Liverpool and start every week.
“So the door for Robertson to leave will open and there will be a lot of interest as some Premier League clubs were thinking about moves.
“He’s now a Liverpool player and in that he was really bought by the club.
“He has a connection with the fans and the club, and at this stage we can’t see him wanting to go to another Premier League side.
“From what I’ve heard, he wants to make that move for Atletico Madrid.
“There’s an interest there and Liverpool is willing to let him go, so it’s something to watch.”
The left back was a great servant of the Reds.
Since joining Hull City in 2017 for around £8.5 million from Hull City, Robertson’s journey has been extraordinary. 342 appearances, 11 goals, 67 assists and nine major trophies.
Despite being affected by a dip in form, ankle injuries and likely affected by a decline in this past season (29 in the Premier League), the defender remains a respected figure.
However, with Kerkez’s move looming, sources close to both the player and the club expect Liverpool to promote Robertson’s exit if Liverpool is a legitimate offer.
