Gresini Ducati confirmed that Alex Marquez is about to ride the German Motogup this weekend.
Alex Marquez will travel to Saxenling for medical examinations Thursday. The Grecini Race will determine whether Spanish riders will be able to ride in Friday’s FP1 session.
Marquez came into contact with Pedro Acosta about a week ago and crashed at Motogup in the Netherlands as they went straight down their backs.
Marquez’s front brake lever accelerated from Acosta’s knee from Turn 5, turning left to right, Marquez’s front wheel packed and wrapped around the front tire, braked Metacarpal with his left hand.
Typically, a left hand fracture is less influential than a right hand fracture due to the right hand responsibility for both the throttle and brake actuation. But the overwhelmingly anti-rock-directional religion could pose a more difficult challenge to Marquez’s particular injuries, with seven consecutive left-handers in the middle of the knee.
Marquez entered his second championship this weekend, 68 points behind eight Saxenling winner Mark Marquez, who won both races in each of the last three MotoGP rounds. Also, Francesco Bagnaia is 58 points ahead of the rider rankings.
The 2019 Moto2 world champion didn’t finish on the German podium until Jorge Martin came in third in last year’s race after falling from the lead on two laps.
However, he was the winner of Saxenling on his way to that Moto2 title six years ago.
