Arsenal is aiming to sign at least two offensive players this summer, with the first of whom are closer to joining Mikel Arteta’s team.
It is no secret that Arteta wants to improve his team’s attacking area. There is a particular need for new strikers and left wingers, but the previous pursuit of targets has not been as expected. But now things seem to be heading in the right direction.
Something like Nico Williams, Rodrigo Goes and Anthony Gordon have been linked to Arsenal for the past few weeks, but new names have appeared as key candidates over the last few days: Noni Maduke. And their chance to sign him from Chelsea now takes a big step.
Arsenal agrees to personal terms with Noni Maduke
This week, Arsenal is working on a contract with Madueke and, as reported by David Ornstein, they have agreed to the 23-year-old personal terms. The 23-year-old, who scored 11 goals and four assists during the extended 2024-25 season, gave him a green light for his move to north London.
The Madueke can work with both wings. This is perfect for Arsenal in that it can be rotated alongside Bukayosaka to manage workloads. I’m confident that I can trade with Chelsea as the two clubs have made many deals in recent years, and the two have made many deals. The latest one happened when Keparizabalaga headed for the chief.
It is still unclear whether Arsenal will be able to accomplish this. I’m also interested in seeing the asking price Chelsea has set for Madueke.
