Jonathan Cuminga knows exactly what he wants to do in his NBA career, and that’s not good news for Warriors fans.
The Golden State Warriors had a unique playoff run before losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In Round 1, he shoved the second-seeded Houston Rockets into seven games and closed them.
However, in the second round, the Warriors injured Stephen Curry and forced him to consider Jonathan Kminga, a player who hadn’t used it on Steve Kerr.
The young star has proven to be very suitable despite the Warriors’ loss. In fact, Kuminga’s numbers show that Kerr made a mistake not using him.
His comments about Carr impressed Draymond Greene’s maturity, but it’s no secret that Cuminga isn’t satisfied with his role. And his future on the team appears to be clear.

In an Athletic report, Anthony Slater reported that re-signing Jonathan Cuminga is a priority for the Golden State Warriors.
However, the young star has the ambition to be an All-Star and doesn’t want to embrace a secondary role anymore.
“Kuminga still has a vision to become an All-Star, according to a league source.
“He wants to become a feature player in the NBA offense and pursue the 20 points and Baned dreams he spent chasing his life.
Slater pointed out that there is no guarantee of an exit. And although his relationship with Steve Kerr can be reconciled, he believes that Kuminga is likely to leave.

Jonathan Cuminga successfully stinted with the Golden State Warriors. He won the championship in his rookie season.
But at this point he needs to prioritize development and growth as a player. Unless there’s a surprising change on his side, Steve Kerr isn’t going to play him much.
So Kuminga has to find a team where he can become a star and get regular minutes. Several reconstruction teams want to land Kuminga and help him develop his potential.
Of course, the Warriors can include some promises in their offer to sign Kuminga, but he rarely re-signs them.
