The have started their 2025 MLB season in just two days against the Chicago Cubs in Tokyo, and their team has historically made headlines with the three most coveted players coming out of Japan.
A quick look at social media shows us many of the epic gestures that Tokyo residents have appropriately welcomed them to their teams. Outside of the two exhibit games, Boys in Blue has become busy with Meet & Greet, Pop-Up, Team Workout, Media Sessions and Player-Only Dinners.
Shohei Ohtani wasted no time hitting a home run in the ‘ first exhibit game, but Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki steadily launched each of the two regular season games where LA plays the Cubs.
