According to Florian Plettenberg of Germany’s Sky, Borussia Dortmund is paying attention to the situation of Arsenal’s Leandro Torosad. But they realize that the Belgian winger offers to stay in the UK from two Premier League clubs if he decides to leave the gunner.
Arsenal is about to continue revamping its offensive section after striker Victor Gyoker arrives from Sport Lisbon, and the 30-year-old’s move could be the summer as Torosad’s contract is in its final year.
Torosad was not a regular member of the Starting XI, a priority given by manager Mikel Arteta, but last season he played a key role in Arsenal’s failure in the Premier League title as Captains Martin Odegard and Winger Bukayosaka missed key chunks of the campaign through their respective injuries issues.
Since arriving from Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2023, Torosard has scored 28 goals and produced 23 assists in 124 competitive matches for gunners in all competitions.
