Chelsea, contrary to other reports, is considered “very close” to another large-scale signature this summer, with Enzo Maresca’s side in the crisis of trading in another statement ahead of their potential challenges for the Premier League title.

Chelsea also brought an estimated £100 million through player sales after agreeing to a deal to force Kepa Alizabaraga, Bashir Humphreys, Noni Madueke, Marcus Bettinelli, Jorge Petrovich and Mattis Amugou to leave West London.

So far, Blueco has spent £145 million on Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro. So, Chelsea is actually making money because they went out and won the CWC and won the CWC.

The money to spend is there and is very comfortable even if they are under pressure from UEFA to sell players and balance their teams.

According to trusted media sources, Chelsea is making effective use of these funds.

They are currently in discussions to sign Ajax’s defenders Jorell Hato, who is determined to join Maresca’s side, and even coach John Haitittittin has made his intentions known to leave Amsterdam (Fabrizio Romano).

Like the pigeons, Chelsea are negotiating a deal with RB Leipzig playmaker Xavi Simons.

Arsenal also contacts Simons’ representative (Fabrizio Romano), but as journalist Simon Phillips explained via his Saccak, it’s Chelsea who is taking the lead seriously here.

Chelsea is “very close” to agreeing to Zabi Simons’ deal

According to reporters, the 22-year-old’s move is actually “alonger” than what has been claimed elsewhere.

Chelsea’s speech is “fast” for Simons, and the deal feels “very close” and only the final details are resolved.

“Simons in particular is actually even more lined up than what’s reported.” I wrote Phillips.

“Chelsea are just covering themselves in case it’s not over. The club needs to be sold, but I don’t feel like Christopher Nukank needs to go first before Chelsea signs Simons, but some advancements in that could help.

“Our source was the last thing we asked Simmons towards Chelsea, that it was very close, but there were final details to sort it out.

“I keep hearing that ‘trading is going fast’ and there’s real agility in both players (Pigs and Simmons). ”

Simons has been reportedly Leipzig’s best paid player at around £192,000 a week, as Dutch International has been seriously impressed with them since he first joined the loan in early 2023/2024.

His tally of 21 goals and 23 assists in all competitions has prompted Leipzig to make his move permanent with his first £43 million in January, but it appears he has already moved specifically to Chelsea.
