Darren hears Joel Romero mention his name, but he is not amused by the challenge.

The previous UFC title challenger appears to be at the origins of a potential feud following Romero’s recent appearance Ariel Hell Wani Show. Romero expressed his praise for Till’s recent knockout victory and suggested he should box next.

Until I wrote “Yoel shuts my fat old mouth ya f*cking and think I’ll give you shit recently?” “Do I fuck? Come to box and leave your fat juice head on the canvas. In fact, I was told to stop calling out old c*nts like I did.

I also took some shots with longtime rivals Mike Perry and Romero’s manager Marqui Kawa.

On Thursday, Romero responded with a trademark quote.

Romero, 48, is making his own waves in the boxing world. At BKFC 80 in Hollywood, Florida, Romero was impressed by Theo Ducas’ second round knockout. He also has two knockout wins competing for Perry’s dirty boxing promotion.

Now, Romero appears to be targeting a more traditional boxing match with 32-year-old Till, and has also won an exhibit boxing match against MMA Fighters Rockhold, Darren Stewart and Anthony Taylor.

One thing Till and Romero have in common is that they both rose to No. 1 competitor status in the UFC, but were unable to become champions. He fought Tyron Woodley for the UFC 228 welterweight title, but Romero was set to challenge Robert Whitaker for the UFC 225 middleweight title, but missed weight and was not entitled to win the belt (Whitaker won the fierce contest decision over Romero).
