The Los Angeles won a 7-1 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday night, but it wasn’t without disappointing news.

Manager Dave Roberts has given superstar Mookie Betts the latest news. He was scratching behind Sunday’s lineup due to illness that sidelined him in Japan.
“I don’t think it’s long term, I’m not too worried,” Roberts said. “He’s not going to play tomorrow, and he takes it every day for his home opener.
“The recovery hasn’t grown.”
Betts looked obviously disappointed when he spoke to the media before leaving Stadium early. He has been ill for the past few weeks, but doctors have not been able to diagnose the cause of his stomach worsening. He lost 25 pounds since he got sick.
“What is that,” he said. “Every time you eat something, it comes out right away.”
If he doesn’t get enough recovering and regaining enough weight, there’s speculation that Betts can start the season on the injured list.
