Los Angeles star Tommy Edman is placed on the list injured with inflammation in his right ankle, and recovery is a slow process while the utility man moves back.

“It’s like every day,” manager Dave Roberts said of Edman’s injuries. “It’s going to take some time.”
Roberts estimated that the ‘ star is recovering by about 80%. There was speculation this weekend that Edman would return during the series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. However, it appears he will spend more time on IL.
Edman has hit .252 with eight home runs and 24 RBIs this season. He has 1.1 bwar and ranks in the 96th percentile with above average outs.
The had to use a mix from a different lineup if Edman and Tecker Hernandez didn’t have two best batsmen. Edman’s long-term absence silver lining is an opportunity for rookie Heesen Kim.
The have used Kim both on the second base and on the center field since he was called by minors. He is currently hitting .313 with two RBIs and two stolen bases.
