Los Angeles superstar Mookie Betts deals with fractures of his toes, and remains “days” according to manager Dave Roberts.

Betts is not expected to return to the ‘ starting lineup until next week, but there is no solid day to make it his return. The good news is that Roberts doesn’t think Betts’ illness needs a stint on the injured list.
Betts has a small fracture at the tip of the fourth toe of his left leg. He has had difficulty wearing his shoes for the past few days.
The superstar previously missed the Tokyo series against the Chicago Cubs, as a stomach illness lost 20 pounds. He also missed an additional match against the Detroit Tigers when he returned from illness over the ‘ domestic opening weekend.
Since then, Betts has played 53 of the ‘ 56 games, until the lineup is absent on Friday. He misses the 3-game series against the New York Yankees.
Betts hit .254 on eight home runs and hit 31 runs, hitting .742 OPS this season. The don’t have one of the three MVPs over the weekend.
